Intertrader Hires Capital.com’s Joe Rundle as CEO

Joe Rundle is appointed CEO of Intertrader.
Former Capital.com Chief of Staff Joe Rundle has joined Intertrader, a provider of CFDs and spread wagering, as CEO. Rundle told Finance Magnates on Thursday that he will start this new position in early April. In an interview with Finance Magnates, Rundle—who joins Intertrader with more than two decades of professional experience—said he has followed the industry for more than fifteen years.
The executive, who led the brokerage firm’s growth and variation strategy and oversaw his own proprietary trading company, TradeOurCapital, was hired by London-based Capital.com more over a year ago. Now, he joins Intertrader. The objective of Intertrader, according to Rundle, is to “move beyond CFDs and spread betting” and provide “touchpoints across a range of customers’ financial needs.” The financial markets are changing at a speed that is astounding. Our goal is to make the consumer the centre of both our product and strategy development. He went on, “I am developing multi-asset, multi-product solutions for clients that prioritise governance and regulation.”
In addition to holding positions as Global CEO of Markets.com (the retail brokerage division of Finalto), Rundle has held positions at reputable Forex and CFDs companies, including ThinkMarkets and ETX Capital, also known as OvalX. He has also held positions as Director of Trading and Partnerships at ThinkMarkets and OvalX. From 2004 to 2010, he oversaw CFDs and execution at OvalX for six years. Furthermore, Rundle started his professional career in 2001 as a trader at the proprietary trading firm Saxon Financial.
