Kohle Capital Markets Onboards Two Executives in Australia Workplace
Kohle Capital Markets Strengthens Its Group in Australia Kohle Capital Markets (KCM), an offshore foreign exchange and contracts for variations (CFDs) dealer, has announced the onboarding of three new executives to join its fast-growing team. Ryan Tsui joins Kohle as the Chief executive, Tim Waterer as Chief Market Analyst, and Jason Lau as Nation Manager with both its Sydney and Melbourne offices. The firm has also announced the hiring of Terence Tsang to its CLSA Premium division as Head of Operations. Additionally, Matthew Grogan and Sangeetha Balasubramaniam have been appointed to lead the firm’s sales trading team in CommSec, CMC Markets, and ANZ, respectively. Finally, the team has appointed a new Compliance Officer for the firm, Jared Parr, who will coordinate with IG and Pepperstone, alongside other financial institutions such as Poly Australia, Societe Generale, Citi, Bank of East Asia, and BOCI. The appointments come as the retail trading landscape in Australia is in the midst of considerable changes, with the Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC) introducing leverage restrictions for retail binary options trading and new reporting rules taking effect in October 2024. Under the new regulations, overseas brokers dealing with Australian retail clients will be required to report their local transactions in Australia.
