Michael Bogoevski is named Head of Distribution for APAC and Canada by CMC Markets.
Michael Bogoevski, an executive at CMC Markets, has been named Head of Distribution for APAC and Canada. “I’m very happy to share that I’m starting a new role as Head of Distribution APAC and Canada at CMC Markets APAC & Canada!” he said on Linkedin, expressing his happiness about the new position.
Michael Bogoevski joined the London-based dealer four years earlier as Head of Sales Trading for the APAC and Canada areas. He started his position as Head of Singapore at CMC Markets in September 2013 and held it till this point. He oversaw wholesale stock broking and derivatives including options, FX, and contracts for difference (CFDs) during his related five-year employment.
Bogoevski is a seasoned member of the financial sector with about 24 years of expertise. In 1998, he began working at Rand Merchant Bank as a junior quantitative analyst. He then briefly worked as a consultant for Shirlaws. He was employed as a Financial Engineer at Société Générale for a number of years before joining CMC Markets.
In order to strengthen its brand, CMC Markets has undertaken a number of marketing initiatives in the APAC area. Most recently, the company extended its sponsorship agreement with the New Zealand Blues, a professional rugby team, for an additional three years. The agreement was first signed in February 2021.
The London-based company’s revenue at the end of the 2022 fiscal year was £281.9 million, which was in line with projections despite a 59 percent decline. They anticipate a five percent increase in operational costs for the current year over the annual guidance.
In addition, CMC Markets is in the midst of a £30 million share buyback programme that will reduce its share capital.
