Peter Rank and Chris Hopton join TORA as it expands to London.
TORA announced that it has expanded its presence to London and has hired Peter Rank as its new Sales Supervisor and Chris Hopton as its Skilled Companies Supervisor, both of whom are effective immediately.
Finance Magnates recently discovered in a press release that TORA, a provider of superior cloud-based order and execution administration system and portfolio administration system, has hired Peter Rank, an expert in relationship administration and gross sales, and Chris Hopton, an experienced supervisor who excels at communicating complicated ideas and options, as its new Gross sales managers.
TORA has hired Rank as a European Sales Supervisor and Hopton as a Skilled Services Supervisor. Rank will most likely report to David Tattan, Europe’s Head of Gross Sales. He’ll be in charge of attracting new customers for TORA’s software solutions. Hopton, on the other hand, will join the global team of professional service managers to continue to provide software and workflow solutions, speedy onboarding, and top support to global institutional buyers.
TORA’s all-in-one OEMS & PMS provides a wide range of capabilities, including execution, allocations, threat management, order administration, real-time normal ledger, position-keeping, P&L monitoring, and SWAP financial modelling.
Rank’s and Hopton’s Professions: Trying Again
Prior to today’s announcement, Rank worked as AxeTrading’s EMEA Gross sales representative from February 2018 to September 2020. According to his LinkedIn page, his work in London involved fixed-income digital buying and selling presenting choices for businesses.
He previously spent more than seven years at Bloomberg in Relationship Management/Gross Sales. He worked as part of the AIM Europe Hedge Fund F team, which was in charge of covering current clients in London, Switzerland, and Malta.
Rank also filled the role of FX Gross sales Help at JP Morgan for just over three years.
Hopton, on the other hand, benefited the most recently by working with TradingScreen as a Senior Account Supervisor until May of this year. His responsibilities included overseeing Funding Managers and Hedge Funds buyers for a total AUM of $38 billion.
He was hired as a marketing consultant by GSAV Ltd in July 2017. He focused on pricing, monitoring, and a regulatory infrastructure for collateralized securities lending for nineteen months.
He also spent two years at SS&C GlobeOp as an Account Supervisor Hedge Fund Companies, where he processed Hedge Fund Purchasers with a total AUM of around $5.5 billion.
He also worked for MarkitSERV Ltd as the Vice President of Account Administration for just over 5 years. In addition, DTCC DerivSERV used his services as a Senior Relationship Manager for more than two years. Hopton was hired by Credit Suisse for a short time as part of the Complicated Product Spinoff Management Group. In September 2004, Hopton was hired as an Enterprise Analyst by UBS Funding Financial institution.
Hopton began his career as a Relationship Supervisor of Company Funding Banking & Markets at HSBC in September 2000.
In Europe, there is a steady momentum.
