Red Wine May Help Lower Blood Pressure
It’s already common knowledge that drinking a moderate amount of red wine has numerous health benefits. Previous research has demonstrated that it may provide protection against some types of cancer, heart disease, and depression. Another reason to enjoy a glass of red wine is that, according to a recent study published in the European Journal of Vitamin, it may reduce blood pressure.
A study involving forty male rats was conducted to examine the effects of red grape berry cells on blood pressure. Over the course of five weeks, the rats were given either an excessive fructose diet or an excessive fructose diet supplemented with varying amounts (200, 400, or 800 mg/kg of body weight per day) of red grape cells. The blood strain, insulin ranges, plasma triglycerides, and adiponectin levels of the rats were assessed at the beginning, three, and five weeks. The effects of the red grape cells on vasodilation have also been observed.
The results demonstrated that blood pressure, adiponectin, triglycerides, plasma, and insulin were all raised in each unit of rats. Nevertheless, the dietary supplements had stabilised their ranges in the second group. They also had a positive effect on the enlargement of the blood vessels.
